The beaches of Vélez-Málaga run from the west in Chilches and east to Lagos. There are 22 kilometers of coastline and beaches that stand out for their diversity and quality services that are provided in them, forming themed spaces that we are improving every year to make possible that our beaches are open all year round, with more than 300 sunny days and with an annual average temperature of 20 degrees.
The distribution of the 8 beaches from east to west are as follows:
- Chilches (sections: Station, Puerta de Hierro, El Cañuelo)
- Benajarafe (sections: Las Parras, Paseo Marítimo, Cuartel, Los Laureles)
- Valleniza (sections: Vallemar and Castillo del Marqués)
- Almayate (sections: Bajamar, Playa Madrid, El Hornillo, Naturist)
